Take that leap

Posted on Thursday, 30 April 2015

So for the past week or so I've been reflecting, doing a lot of reading and genuinely trying to 'figure it out'.

I've gone back to the 'drawing board' , hence my return to the plain white wall that I used in earlier blog-posts.

I've been looking for something new/fresh for the final part of this gap year - I've done the fashion internships, travelled abroad, met a vast range of people...

Now what?

And then it hit me.

I want to create.  I want to use my imagination to produce, design or invent something original.

Now I just need to take the final 'leap' of faith to do so...

'Cause in the end you'll only regret the chances you didn't take.

And as overused/corny as that last quote is, it ain't nothin' but the truth!

Thanks for reading :-) stay tuned for my upcoming creative project in the next few weeks,

For me, Spring represents hope and optimism. It's a sign of better things to come - i.e. summer!

These photos were taken in Holland Park, a beautiful park in Kensington (London), last weekend, wearing an outfit I threw together the night before...

I feel like outfit styling is easier in Spring...as you don't need a huge winter coat to cover up a great outfit!

In terms of day to day life, I've been trying to work on the next and final (*sad face*) part of this gap year. I want to end it with a bang, knowing I've completed all my goals/aims. Stay tuned for more!!!

And don't forget to follow me on Instagram, Twitter and Bloglovin' to stay updated :-)

The Underworld

Leake Street, Waterloo - a graffiti artist's heaven - a hidden 'underworld' with walls full of creativity.

I visited the site the other day, with my friend Abi and we took a variety of photos - both Polaroid and digital! Here are the pics:

It was awesome seeing this site for the first time! It's actually a tunnel which runs underneath Waterloo station - right near the London Eye!

It's so fun to see different areas of London...I might incorporate this 'exploring and documenting' aspect into the blog a bit more perhaps? What do you think?

But we're still in London!

How gorgeous is this place?

It's York House, Twickenham (South West London to be exact).

I met up with my friend Edita, a few weeks ago when we took these photos.

It was a gorgeous Spring day in London and I was introduced to a beautiful garden down by the River Thames. Remember London Calling? On the same river, but about 8 miles West.

Although the beauty of the place contrasts with my very casual outfit (see the caption links to purchase the OOTD items), I was at ease with nature.

This is what I love about London, how you can 'be familiar' with an area of the city but still not be familiar with it at the same time. There are so many 'hidden treasures' to discover/see! As I've grown up, I've really learnt to appreciate the amount of stuff and opportunity available in London.
